8000 KG round sling

Our round lifting slings all meet BS & CE lifting standards and have a 7:1 safety factor. Offered as a softer, more pliable and effective substitute to lifting chains and wire rope,  and offer more protection to delicate loads. They’re especially effective in handling cylinder shape objects using a choke hitch, however there will be a reduction to the SWL down to 6.4 tonnes when used in this way.   Other hitch types such as basket hitches will also require SWL adjustments; see the specifications for more details.

Made of tough tubular polyester webbing (the protective sleeve) with a polyester yarn hank inner core (the load bearer), these slings are softer with a little padding and are probably the most comfortable slings to handle.  

It is absolutely essential that an 8000 kg round sling is never overloaded to more than the working load limit according to hitch type.
